Windows 11 24H2 Scan Issue - Brother Scanner

My computer updated to the Windows 11 24H2. After updating my brother scan function will not work. The computer sees the scanner. I have removed and reinstalled the scan driver and software, I have reached out to Brother and they have verified that the issues is with the updated to 24H2. How can this be fixed?

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft customer support.

Check if there are any pending Windows updates and install them. The latest update is January 14, 2025—KB5050009 (OS Build 26100.2894) - Microsoft Support

There was one issue related to scan but resolved in KB5048667. see: Resolved issues in Windows 11, version 24H2 | Microsoft Learn

Môj problém je, že nemôžem posielať skenované súbory priamo do súboru v PC. Vo verzii 23H2 vsetko fungovalo normalne od verzie 24H2 nefunguje vôbec nič. Ako môže Microsoft poslať aktualizáciu, ktorá nefunguje tak ako by mala? Asi by mal Microsoft najskôr prekontultova5 všetky problémy s výrobcami ovládačov a až potom vypustiť nejaku aktualizáciu. Vzhľadom k tomu, že nefunguje skenovanie resp. odoslanie skenu priamuo z Brother zariadenia do PC, tak si novú aktualizáciu nenainštalujem... Je celá na hovno a rozmýšľam na prechod na Linux...

on 2/28/25, i have the same problem as above. SCAN feature not working on my W11 24H2

Same issue, still not fixed and not time table from MS to do so...
