In my C drive storage I previously 58GB storage then it droppet to 56GB, then I freed some space to 60GB but after some minutes it dropped to 59.1GB, then it dropped to 58GB and several days later it was 53.1GB, after that it jumped to 56GB after that 53.1GB came back, after a few days it jumped to 58GB and then 53.1GB came back but days later it jumped to 59GB but it jumped back to 52,9GB and it started drastically dropping to 47GB but I saw that Windows 11 24H2 wad installing so it left me with 45GB but it dropped to 42GB and came back to 43GB and dropped to now that is 41.3GB, is this normal?

    Hi,

When Windows updates are being installed, they can temporarily consume a large amount of disk space. This includes downloading the update files, creating backups, and installing the updates. Once the update process is complete, some of this space may be freed up.

Temporary files, cache, and other system files can also cause fluctuations in available disk space. These files are often created and deleted by various applications and system processes.
