Hi,

I am upgrading machines to 24H2 using SCCM Feature Update, but all the machines are going into an error state. When I checked the WUAHandler.log, it shows the error "Unexpected HRESULT while download is in progress: 0x80240069", and the deployment also shows error 0x80240069 with the status "Failed to install". Please help me fix this issue..

    Hi @TechUST ,

I also observed the same issue while upgrading Windows 11 23H2 machines to Windows 11 24H2 — the content download failed initially. This issue was resolved with the May 2025 update. However, we continued to face multiple challenges while upgrading to 24H2 using the Feature Update method due to the large content size (~11 GB).

We raised a case with Microsoft, but no solution was provided. As a workaround, we have started upgrading the machines using the in-place upgrade method via Task Sequence.
