I’m encountering an issue where tasks created from Outlook lose all attachments when moved from the “Private” task list to a shared Plan in Microsoft Planner.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. In Outlook, right-click an email and choose Advanced Actions > Create Task.

The task appears under Planner > My Tasks > Private Tasks.

I use the Move Task option in Planner to move the task to another existing Plan.

After the move, all attachments (e.g., email attachments, files) are missing. There are no broken links or errors — the attachments are simply gone.

Additional Notes:

This happens consistently across different Plans and attachment types.

The destination Plan may be in a different group, but I’m unsure.

I haven’t confirmed if this affects all users or just my account.

Is this a known limitation of moving tasks from “Private Tasks” to a shared Plan? Are there any workarounds or settings that might preserve attachments during the move?
