Set lower bid on Yahoo or otherwise reduce exposure?

We are a B2B vendor running a Microsoft Ads campaign. While our Bing prospects are decent, thus far all conversions coming from search.yahoo.com are either bots or jobseekers. I realize there's no way to prevent our ads from appearing on Yahoo because it's a first-party site, but does anyone have any tips for down-bidding or otherwise adjusting the campaign to reduce these junk conversions coming from it?

    Good morning AndrewRothman,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Advertising Community Forum! My name is Marcel, and I will be assisting you with this query.

I understand that you are trying to reduce the number of low-quality conversions coming from the Yahoo network.

While we cannot stop the Ads from showing on Yahoo searches, we also cannot bid lower for a search network specifically. You will only be billed for standard-quality clicks. Clicks that have been determined to be low-quality or invalid will be credited automatically to your account.

We have more information on this at this link: Monitoring clicks: Telling the good from the bad (microsoft.com)

I will send you a private message so that I can continue to support you with more account related information.

I hope that you have a great day further!

    Kind regards,

I received your private message but there's no reply option for some reason.

If there's no way to reduce or block these junk clicks, is there some way to report a conversion as 'fake' so that it doesn't screw up the stats or the bidding?

    Good morning AndrewRothman,

There is no way to block the reporting on these clicks/conversions. Our machine learning continually works to improve the quality of the clicks and conversions and will retroactively remove the charges for clicks and conversions determined to be invalid or of low quality.

Based on the information gathered from search patterns and the performance of campaign data, these invalid clicks/conversions will be blocked in the future.
