Hi AileenL11,
Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Advertising forum.
I understand you have created a Microsoft Advertising account recently by importing your existing campaignsfrom Google Ads, however its been around 5 days and there has been no performance even though your content is serving.
There are a few possible reasons why there are no traction, however it would be more ideal to view your account and make sure that there is nothing that would hinder performance. Firstly, I would suggest checking over your billing and payments, and the reason for this is because depending on your chosen method of payment, you may need to manually add funds or the funds should be debited automatically.
- From the top menu, select Tools > Billing & Payments.
- If you have multiple accounts, choose one from the account selector in the top menu.
- From Billing Summary in the Current balance tile, select Add funds.
- On the Add funds form, follow the instructions. Instructions vary based on your payment method.
- Select Pay now.
Payment method | Processing time |
---|---|
Credit/debit card | Typically instant, but can take up to 24 hours if there are system delays with card processing |
:--- | --- |
PayPal | Typically instant |
:--- | --- |
Bank transfer | Up to 5 days |
:--- | --- |
SEPA Direct Debit | Up to 5 business days for a first payment, and up to 2 business days for subsequent payments |
:--- | --- |
Check | 1-3 weeks, including mailing time |

Alternatively, due to the account being very new there may be ads/keywords/account within an Editorial check, as this is standard for new and existing campaigns, so I would monitor deliver statuses for all content.
Delivery status tells you if your campaign, ad group, ad, keyword, ad extension, ad customizer, or audience association is operating correctly. The status Eligible indicates that your ad or ads are available to be displayed, unless there is an error with your account.
To determine the delivery status of your campaign, ad group, ad, keyword, ad extension, or audience association:
- From the collapsible main menu on the left, select All campaigns, and then either Campaigns, Ad groups, Ads & extensions, Keywords, or Audiences).
- Check the statuses of individual items in the Delivery column.
- To make it easier to find non-Eligible statuses, you can sort the Delivery column by selecting the Delivery column header.
Here are some ways to use that information to improve the freshness, relevance, and performance of your campaign.
Improve your click-through rate (CTR). |

Why: A higher CTR means your ads are being clicked more.

How:

Improve your ad copy by addressing your customers directly (use "you" and "your") and being specific (use "50% off" instead of "big discounts"). Improve the average position of your ads on webpages. |
:--- |
Why: Ads in positions 1 through 8 of page 1 are most likely to be seen by potential customers.

How:

Increase the relevance of your ads to your keywords and landing page by writing effective ad content.

Improve your quality score by examining and optimizing your landing page and keywords.

Increase your keyword bids, and use bid adjustments with targeting to help increase your ad position and improve CTR.

|
Make sure your average cost per click (CPC) is in the range you expect based on your conversion rate, ad position, and your desired ROI. |
:--- |
Why: Average CPC can help you determine if you're getting a good return on investment based on the number of clicks you're getting and paying for.

How:

Examine average ad position and adjust bids to achieve the correct balance between CPC and ad position.

Bid across all match types within the same ad group, rather than just one or two match types. This can help lower CPC, and can also increase the click-through rate and conversions.

Use targeting appropriately, especially targeting by location, to help reduce clicks from people who aren't likely customers.

|
Boost your conversions and conversion rate. |
:--- |
Why: Conversions are the actions you want customers to complete after viewing your ad; the more you get, the more successful your campaign. Conversion rates consistently below the 2% to 3% range can mean fewer conversions and a lower ROI.

How:

Turn on conversion tracking.

Make your website's landing page more relevant, interesting, well-organized, easy to use, and fast-loading. Once customers are on your website, make sure it's easy to navigate and that the content is easy to read. Tell your story and let your customers tell theirs with testimonials.

|
As touched on above this type of matter is very account specific and would require an in depth review in case any of the above does not rectify the challenge.
Please respond to my private message and we will continue this conversation further and I will make sure this is resolved.
Thanks,
