My VAT number was used illegally

Hello,

I'm a bit desparate, I have a notice from the Austrian tax government, that my VAT ID was used in 2019 to acquire services on Bing Ads of around 35k, which means if I can not prove it was not me, I have to pay 20 percent VAT.

I have no knowledge of using my VAT number for Bing Ads services at this time.

Microsoft Ads support is not helping me at all, I already contacted them dozen times. They always say they are not allowed to provide any account information it the account is not belonged to me.

What can I do?
