Why Aren't My Product Ads for Bing Shopping Campaign Appearing?

I am currently advertising in Google Product Listing Ads. I realize that people also use Bing and I want to advertise with Bing Ads as well. I want Bing users to be able to find my products.

I created my Bing Ads account on 4/2 and uploaded my product catalog feed the same day. 5 days later after multiple calls to Bing Ads Support, there is still no activity in my campaign. No impressions, no clicks, no spend. The product catalog is active and not pending review in the Bing Merchant Center. The campaign is enabled with a daily budget and CPC that is getting me traffic on Google (I imagine bids on Bing would be lower since there is less merchant competition). When I use the Ad Preview and Diagnostic Tool, I don't see my Product Ad results appear when I search on keywords that are in my feed. I verified that the fields and the data in my feed was correct according to the Bing support documentation. My account is in good standing with a payment method verified.

I have no problems with Google, but this Bing new advertiser user experience is pretty bad.

For all other advertisers out there, is this the norm with Bing? Bing Ads Customer Support that is not really sure what is going on with the system and no reports or warnings in the system showing why ads are not appearing?

Any ideas or recommendations?

    You say you called support, are you calling US support? Please ask for me if you are. There are things I need to check - I am not sure if you have an existing ticket - it sounds like you do, but I can not properly assess your situation in this chatroom nor would I want to have your private information put here.     Good Morning BingBingGo,

    Depending on how many items are in your feed and how quickly we can crawl your page, it can take a few days for the ads to begin serving. We apologize for this delay. As you can imagine - as we have just switched everyone over into the shopping system this month, this is just processing time and once you are set up and running - future feeds will not take as long to begin serving.

    Just in case there is an issue with the feed itself there is an article What Google feed file attributes can I use? that may help identify if there is something holding up the feed in your end.

    To double check and be 100% sure there isn't anything else I personally like to review How is the feed file organized? because sometimes changes in taxonomy can also cause a delay.

    Sounds like its a system issue on the Bing Ads end from the responses I am receiving from support.

    I have been told to raise my CPC from $0.20, so I raised it to $0.50. (I get traffic at $0.20 on Google).

    I have been told to raise my budget from $10/day (test), so I raised it to $50/day. My budget is much higher on Google because their system has proven to me that it works and it converts.

    I was told by support after 5 days of successful feed uploads that my 19k row product catalog feed would need another 2-3 days to process., so I reduced the product catalog feed to about 200 products.

    The Bing Ads console does not do a very good job of managing client expectations. Everything shows status OK in the Catalog Summary. The Store Summary shows 0 products awaiting review and everything in stock (15k products) as "active".

    Lets see how things go and how long it takes to resolve the issues with the reduced feed size. So far, the Bing system issues have cost Bing and Bing search partners # of days ads are not live x my daily budget in revenue.

    Can anyone reading this that has had success with Bing Ads chime in with feedback on my problem? Is everyone experiencing this?

    Day 6. Still no ads being served. What is wrong with the Bing Ads system? Another call to Bing Ads support. Only 211 products in the feed now. Help?

    Spoke with Anna. Really appreciate her help. Anna found a potential difference between Google taxonomy and Bing Taxonomy in an optional field. Will need to re-map to Bing's taxonomy and revise, re-submit feed. Hope to have ads live in next few days. Thanks again Anna!
