    Hello Michael H. M. Bowen,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

As much as I'd like to help, but since you have a device for business, it would be best raising this issue to our commercial support team. Please submit a support request via Support for business (microsoft.com) to get your device diagnosed and get insights from the experts who handle commercial devices.

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards,

    StevenK

There is no reason not to support a customer with this issue here. This could be a BYOD or even a consumer (like me) who purchases Business Surface devices from the Microsoft Store or reseller. Your link below is for a company with a support plan. You didn't even ask. See Contact Surface Support - Surface | Microsoft Learn and note that there are options, depending on the situation. And take note that posting here in the Community is officially recommended by Microsoft.
