Scanning SMS QR Codes for Surface Duo 2

Hello,

I am having an issue scanning SMS QR codes with my Surface Duo 2. The camera setting to scan QR codes is enabled, and I haven't run into any issues scanning QR codes that open web pages, but when I scan a QR code that's supposed to open a SMS message in my default application, I receive a message "Copied QR code result" instead of it opening my SMS application. Is there a fix to this?

    Hello StephenM_741,

    A few questions in follow-up to this:

    1. Are you using the default camera application
    2. are you using the default SMS application
    3. what happens when you press the notification

    depending on the answers i may need to reach out to you via direct message to get some further details and screen captures of the issue.
