Thank you for reporting this issue. If you are encountering this issue (incoming calls go to voice mail and outgoing calls end immediately), a fix has been released today, December 8th, and is available by updating your Surface Duo 2. Please let us know if this does not resolve the issue you are seeing. If it does not resolve the issue you are seeing, one thing to try is to temporarily insert a SIM from a different mobile operator and then change back to the SIM you are using. If you are encountering a different issue, please start a new thread by clicking Ask a new question in the upper right corner.
Here are the steps:
- Press and hold the power button for a couple of seconds, and then choose the Power off option to turn off your Surface Duo 2.
- Take out your current SIM.
- Insert a SIM from a different mobile operator (not your existing mobile operator).
- Press the power button to turn on your Surface Duo 2 and sign into your device.
- Once the device connects to the mobile network, press and hold the power button for a couple of seconds, and then choose the Power off option to turn off your Surface Duo 2.
- Take out the SIM and then place your original SIM back into your Surface Duo 2.
- Press the power button to turn on your Surface Duo 2.
