Same here. Only happens when I use the "hands-free" Bluetooth profile (the default in comms software including Teams). The left earbud has a noticeable lag to the sound compared to the right earbud, which sounds like a strange echo when anyone else on the Teams call speaks. The level of buzzing / noise in the left earbud is noticeably higher than the right and is pretty bad. Latest firmware version.
These issues don't happen at all if the "stereo" Bluetooth profile is used, but then that profile will only work in Teams if I use an additional external microphone so isn't a solution.
I say these are "noticeable" issues but for the price and Surface badge I was optimistically expecting similar behaviour to my Surface Headphones (original) which are utterly brilliant as a Bluetooth headset on Teams calls and don't have these two problems. I am genuinely considering sending the Earbuds back as the Teams (& Skype) call quality is not up to the Surface brand or price tag - they're pretty unusable as a Teams/Skype headset because of the buzzing, the left-ear lag and general call audio quality. Very sad!
It's also a mission to alter call volume on the Earbuds in a Teams call, although this is a less important problem. It defaults to very loud when joining a Teams call and I have to change my Windows system audio output to the hands-free device, alter the volume, then set the system device back to the previous device for when I leave the Teams call and want music again. Again, the Headphones don't have this volume problem, only the Earbuds do.
