How can I stop the Sharepoint app from crashing immediately on my Surface Duo 2?

I have had others report the same issue. Select SharePoint, Screen flashes, then crash. Cleared cache and memory, Reloaded the app. Factory reset. I am on the latest release of everything, A little frustrating as I am leading our SharePoint rollout and cannot test mobile myself. Any assistance is appreciated.
