Can I apply multiple azure founders hub credits to a same Azure Account

Hi,

I have previously applied for Microsoft Founders Hub and have received Azure credits for 2 years, and we have only utilised $18,500 of it and it is about to expire in few days. One of my other founder applied into Microsoft Founders Hub using his linkedin account and have got $5000 credits, can this credits to be added to the existing Azure account before the expiry of the 2 years credit duration. Or do I need to create a new Azure account to redeem the credits.

I understand you would like to transfer your Azure credits to your co-founder's account. In this situation I recommend you take the following steps:

Sign into the Microsoft for Startups Portal

Navigate to the question mark in the top right corner of your portal

Click 'Submit a support Ticket'

I think you have not understood the question properly. My question is, 'If an Azure account has already redeemed Microsoft Founder Hub Azure credit from one of the founder's application. Now later on if an another founder applies for Microsoft Founder Hub benefits then can he redeem the Azure credits in the same account where the earlier founder has already redeemed it'. In short I mean to ask if multiple Azure credits from different Founder Hub account be applied or redeemed in a single and same Azure account

No, Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub credits are tied to the individual account that applied and was approved. They can’t be transferred or combined across multiple Founders Hub accounts into a single Azure subscription. Each founder receives their own Azure sponsorship credits linked to their Microsoft account and subscription, and merging credits isn’t supported.

You can do the below steps instead of:

Your co-founder can redeem their $5,000 credits by creating a new Azure subscription under their own Microsoft account, allowing your startup to use both sets of credits independently.

You can collaborate across subscriptions by adding each other as contributors or owners, and if needed, use Azure Lighthouse or cross-subscription access to manage resources seamlessly.
