A client reports they're unable to change the URL of their home page and indeed, the save button that's normally there is missing! Any ideas???
This is how it looks on my PC:

2025-07-04T17:07:20.1133333+00:00 I'm pretty sure we tried putting the URL and it didn't work but I've just done the same thing and the home page is working.
Very confused over versions! My client (where save is missing) and my PC (where save is present) are both running Edge 138.0.3351.65. Although the client has installed 2025.06 cumulative preview and I haven't. The list of options down the left in Edge settings is also different to mine. I've got a lot more... Oh well, it's working now.

2025-08-17T09:18:25.2866667+00:00 I've been doing a lot of Windows deployments recently due to Windows 10 EOL (hmm) for smaller businesses so it tends to be a mainly manual process. I can confirm that there is still a bug here. If you type or paste into the home address box and then simply close settings, it doesn't save. But if you tab off that field, it does save. As there is no "Save" button for settings, this is a bug. As you type into the home field, it should save on each key press.

2025-08-17T11:17:40.0166667+00:00 There is still clearly a problem here and whilst I'm not 100% sure, I suspect that Edge only commits an edit (specifically paste) to the home page field if you tab off the field OR move to another setting. If you simply open Edge, make edit to home page field and then close settings, it doesn't stick. This is a workaround, not a fix. Edge should commit pasted text the instant it's pasted.
