Dear Surfertm,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
If you want to enhance the audio experience on your Microsoft Surface laptop and want to use audio equalizer software that is compatible with Windows 11 and ARM-based systems, then you may need to download third-party audio equalizer software.
I apologize that as a member of the Microsoft Community Support, I am unable to recommend third-party software directly, but you can search for it yourself if you need it. Please be sure to download any software from the official website of the corresponding audio equalizer to be on the safe side.
Also, as far as I know some Microsoft Surface devices should support Dolby Atmos, and you can see if your device does by following these steps. Make sure the headphones or speakers you are using are compatible with Dolby Atmos. Then, follow the steps below:
- Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar and select “Sound Settings”.
- Under “Output” select the audio device and click “Properties”.
- Look for the “Spatial Sound” tab and select “Dolby Atmos for Headphones” or “Dolby Atmos for Home Theater” (if available).
If not installed, download the Dolby Access app from the Microsoft Store to unlock Dolby Atmos features.
If your device doesn't support it, I sincerely recommend you to search for and make sure to download any software from the official website of the corresponding audio equalizer.
Note: Surfaceis now supported on Microsoft Q&A.
