How do you control the privacy light for the rear facing camera on a Surface Pro 4? I could not find any settings for it in the Camera App.

    Hello Tom Bart.

There is no configuration to turn of the privacy light on any Surface tablet.

Basically, its not a feature for you as a user, but to ensure privacy to the public.

Its even required in some countries by law, just like the "clicking sound" some cameras make.

    Kind regards

Sorry, it can't be done.  In many jurisdictions a recording light is required by law.

what does the light signify? It flashes every time the computer is turned on. Is the camera taking a picture?
