Taking photos on a Microsoft Surface

I'm taking photos on my Surface Pro. The device automatically numbers the photos with the date and time the photo was taken. Is there a way to change the numbering? I would like to have the option to have the photos numbered sequentially, ie from 0001 on, like a digital camera would.

Any ideas?

    Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community.

    This setting is by default and we do not have an option to change this setting. This would be a great suggestion as an added feature to Windows to allow the user to change the default naming sequence of the photos that is captured by the camera.
