Duo2 cannot activate AT&T Visual Voicemail

I have been working with AT&T support in an effort to activate the Surface Duo2's Telephone Visual Voicemail feature. After migrating from Duo to Duo2, AT&T Visual Voicemail software continued working for about three weeks, then suddenly stopped. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled and found it would not activate. I later found Duo2 has a provision built in for AT&T Visual Voicemail so I uninstalled AT&T's software again and attempted to just use the Duo2's feature found under the Telephone Voicemail settings. This too will not activate. AT&T support has reset my voicemail and it still will not activate. I need AT&T Visual Voicemail to work! Please help, anyone.....

    Hi Voodoodood,

    Visual Voicemail is a feature provided by the carrier, in this case - AT&T. The only thing we can suggest is to clear the app cache in the Phone app by going to Settings > Apps & Notifications > App Info > Show System > Phone > Storage & Cache > Clear Cache. You may have to complete the same steps with the AT&T Visual Voicemail app.

    Note: This will not remove contacts or call history.

    I haven't had any issues with my AT&T VM. Maybe try a factory reset?
