Hello Paul W. ML,
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community.
We're sorry to hear about this start-up issue on your device and for the inconvenience which has caused you. We understand how frustrating this could be. Please do know that this is not the experience we want you to have.
As what you mentioned, since all the methods you tried did not work, then this is most likely a hardware problem already. At this point, it would best to get in touch with our Microsoft assisted support to get your device diagnosed or check your replacement options, if necessary. Here's how:
Via web browser
- Go to Contact Us - Microsoft Support and select Devices.
- Choose your preferred support method.
- Type in the problem you need help with.
- Look at any available solutions offered and select Contact Support.
For detailed instructions on how to contact our support via web browser, you might want to see this thread: click here. In any event the link won’t go through, try it on another browser.
I hope this helps. Appreciate your understanding with this matter.
Best regards,
StevenK
