Even though you're not able to see what you're clicking, you can try reset it by following the steps below:
(Note: This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your favorites, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.)
> Open MS Edge
> Type edge://settings/resetProfileSettings
in the address bar and press Enter
> Wait for a few seconds and make sure you don't click on anything else
> Press Enter and wait a few more seconds
> Reboot your PC and check if the issue persists
