While using my edge browser sometimes it suddenly starts lagging and gets slow and a few times it freezes and I cannot even close the app and closing my device also won't fix this but after sometime time it gets resolved. This has happened few time and mostly it happens when switching from private tab to normal tab. Can you say what is the issue with the browser and how I can fix it.

Hello , sorry about your problems. My name is Marco and I will do my best to help you.

    First, clear Cache and Cookies

Go to Settings and more > Settings > Privacy, search, and services.

Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.

Select All time for the time range, check Browsing history and Cached images and files, and then click Clear now.

2.Go to Settings and more > Extensions.

Disable all extensions and then re-enable them one by one to identify if any specific extension is causing the issue.

    3.Disable Hardware Acceleration

Open Settings and more > Settings > System and performance.

Toggle off Use hardware acceleration when available.

    4.Repair Microsoft Edge

Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features.

    • Then, this command and Enter.

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    • Then make the following commands.
