Cookies page locks up on Microsoft Edge for Linux

I use Microsoft Edge for Linux, Version 115.0.1901.188 (Official build) (64-bit). My operating system release is Xubuntu 23.04 (Lunar Lobster), and my desktop is Xfce 4.18.

I am on this Web page: edge://settings/siteData. I reached this page by selecting: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data > See all cookies and site data)

When I reach this page, it is completely unresponsive. I can see one page of my cookies, but I cannot scroll the window, and I cannot use the search box.

Eventually, a window pops up saying, "This page isn't responding." I can click wait, but then the same window pops up again.

If I open this page by pasting the URL, edge://settings/siteData, in the address bar, it is even worse. I see a spinning circle at first, but then the circle stops spinning and no cookies appear.

I have thousands of cookies, which I can view only by using DB Browser for SQLite. I have no need to delete them.

I have reported this problem multiple times over a period of months through Microsoft Edge, but it has not been fixed.

    Hi John,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.

Unfortunately, Microsoft Edge for Linux is not supported on the Microsoft Answers forum. It is more suitable for publishing on Microsoft Learn (English only), you can click on "Ask a question", there are experts who can provide more professional solutions in that place.

Here is a link: Microsoft Edge - Microsoft Q&A to the forum where you can raise specific scenarios and share your idea to help solve the problem.

I won't be able to help you, but I'll leave that question open in case one of our amazing volunteers has ideas for you.

    Your Sincerely

Hahn - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
