How do I remove a browser extension from Edge when it crashes within seconds?

Microsoft Edge crashes within seconds of loading. I didn't realize that an application I downloaded came with an ad-blocking browser extension that conflicted with a different ad-blocking browser extension. Now Edge will load for a few seconds and then crash. I don't have enough time to remove the two extensions that are causing the problem. What can I do?

When was the last time it worked properly?

Please try the method below if it helps.

Press Windows key+R to open Run then type:

    %localappdata%\Microsoft\Edge\

Make a backup of the User Data folder and save it on another location

After that delete the said folder on the path above

Please check if this fixes the issue.

Press the Windows key + R to open the run box and paste in:

    %localappdata%\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Extensions

Rename the most recently modified extension folder with a leading underscore, then launch Edge.

I'm sorry I didn't see your reply sooner. It was functioning a little oddly the past few days. So I decided to reboot my system to let it clear its head, and that's when Edge started crashing. Then a notification popped up of a browser extension I never installed claiming it failed. In the brief seconds Edge was running, I was able to see that something had added a browser extension I didn't authorize. I think it was part of an adobe product I upgraded to in a rush If I follow your instructions, will I be able to restore my previous browsing session? Also thank you for responding

I fear you're making assumptions of my knowledge base. Think of me like an eight year old man who would rather have other people do things for them. Also, I'm using my phone for this message board help thing and I have no means of copy and pasting from my phone to my desktop. Thank you for trying to help, but I want to at least give you a better picture of what's going on.

Thanks for updating me with that information. There is no guarantee that this will restore your previous browsing session as the above method will start your Edge as if it was the first time you used it.
