    Chris,

    Sorry, but no one here in the forums has any access to Microsoft stock availability. I don't know much about iFixit's kits, but see https://www.ifixit.com/Parts/Microsoft_Surface_Laptop_7 (they claim to use genuine MS parts and have "partnered" with MS to provide these kits.
