Hi,

Microsoft Teams has rolled out a new feature enabling users to be able to add multiple emoji reactions to a single message. This applies to Teams for Windows desktop, Teams for Mac desktop, Teams for the web, and Teams for iOS/Android.

The feature is available to all users and does not require a Teams Premium license. Additionally, this feature is enabled by default and the rollout happened automatically with no admin action required before the rollout. I have tested this with my Microsoft Live Account, in both Teams web and android app.

However, when I use my Work Account, I can't seem to use this feature. Even when I'm logging in to the Teams Web version but using my work account, it's also disabled. Is this new feature actually being controlled by the Office 365 Administrators?

Afaik there is no admin control for this feature, so you not seeing it on the work account is likely due to the rollout. According to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the feature is still in the rolling out phase, so it is possible it hasn't yet hit your tenant/user. That's nothing unexpected - it can take weeks or even months to rollout new features across all regions and customers, so just give it some more time. You can keep an eye on the Roadmap item I linked above for the rollout progress.

This rollout process may take some time to be applied to all customers globally in order to ensure system stability. Therefore, it is expected that your account and those of other members in the organization have not yet been updated with this feature.

Our department will continue to monitor this process closely. We will send an official notification to you as soon as the feature has been fully applied to our tenant.
