Hello Jisoo Park,
Thank you for using our Microsoft Advertising Learn Q&A Platform!
Please note that once a Microsoft Advertising account has been created, the currency setting cannot be changed. The selected currency is a one-time setting determined during the initial account setup and cannot be modified later.
We understand this may be inconvenient, and we sincerely apologize for any frustration this may cause. At this time, there is unfortunately no workaround to change the currency on an existing account.
If you wish to use a different currency, such as KRW, the only available option would be to create a new Microsoft Advertising account and select the desired currency during the setup process.
Please follow the below link for more information on Choosing the Currency:
Choosing your account currency
What can I do if I selected the wrong currency?
If you set up an account and need to change the currency, you will need to set up a new account. If you have campaigns, ad groups, ads, and settings in the old account, then you will want to export them from the old account and import them into the new one.
Create a new account
From the navigation menu on the left, select Tools > All accounts.
- On the Account Summary tab, select Create account.
- Enter the information for the new account, selecting the currency that you want to change to.
- Select Create.
Import campaign information into your new account
To read more about importing information to Microsoft Advertising, see also Import campaigns directly from Google Ads.
From the navigation menu on the left, hover over Import and select Import from file.
- Select Browse, select the file that you exported, and then select Continue.
- Under Review Column Matching, select Continue.
- Under Choose Microsoft Advertising Account & Import Options, select the new account you created, select the time zone, and then select Import.
