    Hi Effjaelle,

I'm Ahmed and I am here & happy to help.

Is this still there? If yes, he can hover over there and see what it is as it's the first time to see this icon and I have done a lot of reproducing of this and a lot of research and unfortunately, I did not find anything related to this. It could be a system glitch or something like that. As I have also locked channels a never have seen this icon.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Best regards,

    Thanks for the quick response

Unfortunately hovering did not show any status or explanation but the user was able to notice the team membership showed (0) while

other team members did not show the same symbol

    Thanks for your quick update.

Please to make sure this is not a glitch advice the user to do the following:

    1. Quit Microsoft Teams. Right-click the icon and select Quit.
    2. Cut and paste %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams into File Explorer.
    3. Delete the contents of the entire folder.
    4. Restart Microsoft Teams.

we discovered thru trial and error, although hovering -nothing was displayed

but found it was based on hidden channels with 'particular' unread messages

and once they were read the icon disappeared
