Can I split a Teams group once created and if I do will it keep the same content that has already been uploaded in both Tes groups?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to split a Teams group once it has been created. Any existing content that has been uploaded to the group will remain in the original group and will not be moved to the new groups. However, you can copy any content that you would like to use in the new groups.

Please if you don't mind could you see if you can assist me with the below question .

I followed the direction and created new groups bit some coursework and Assignmenets were submitted whilst the team was joined, Can old Assignments that have been uploaded to Teams be transfered to na new group once it has been created.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer assignments that have already been uploaded to a team to a new group once the new group has been created. You will need to manually upload the assignments to the new group.
