Guest access to business Teams page

I work for the Department of Education and we have set up a Teams page that we add educators to for sharing of resources and information. We know that any non DoE users can only be added as guests.

One particular educator is struggling to access the page. We have added her as a guest and sent her the invite link, but she still keeps getting error messages. She has tried using a private browser and still no luck.

It is important to note that 2 educators that work with her have had no issues, and they have the same domain on their email addresses.

Would welcome any tips or advice! Thanks

Error messages have included:

"we're sorry, but *insert email here* can't be found in the schools.nsw.sharepoint.com directory. Please try again later, while we try to automatically fix this for you"

"Hmmm... can't find that team - looks like the team or channel you are looking for doesn't exist. Please contact the team owner, or try again later."

    Hello George

We warmly welcome you to Microsoft community.

Have you tried B2B direct connect relationship? For users to invite people from outside your organization to a shared link or channel, both organizations must set up an organizational relationship in Microsoft Entra B2B direct connect. Kindly go through the article for more detail on B2B relationship. Collaborate with external participants in a shared channel (IT Admins) | Microsoft Learn

Please contact Teams admin to configure B2B collab on your behalf and specify an internal help link for shared channel users.

    1. In the Teams admin center, expand Teams, and then select Teams settings.
    2. Under Shared channels, turn Provide a link to my support request page on.
    3. Type the URL to your support page in the Support request page link box.
    4. Select Save.

Hope this helps! Please feel free to keep us updated.

    Best Regards

    Bertrand
