Hello,

I am trying to fix some bug where my mic is not working in Microsoft Teams Meeting.

One important info and disclaimers:

-my microphone (hardware) is working perfectly, tested in minimum 10 voice applications

-my microphone is working in Microsoft Team private Chat

-my microphone i getting detected in Microsoft Teams settings

-my microphone is working in WIindows 10 Pro voice recording tool

So problem is when i unmute myself and try to speak in Meeting no one can hear me, tested it multiple times in my class, i can't reply and pls help me fast because i can't attend my class and rely to teacher questions.

What i tried so far to fix it:

  • reinstalled Windows 10 Pro

-reinstalled Microsoft Teams

-reinstalled microphone driver

My microphonemodel: Razer Kraken Tournament Edition headset microphone

I am suspecting that because my headset have EXTERNAL DAC and it's own software called Razer Synapse, problem is Microsoft side based probably bad integration or code or some software bug. To recap, SOUND FROM MIC does not get picked up by Microsoft Teams app or processed i don't know.

Hello, Evan! My name is John, and I am an Independent Advisor as well as a long-time Microsoft user. I am glad to help regarding your Teams issue.

I also hope you are doing great aside from your concern today.

Let's try one of these steps:

    1. Check for updates of your Operating System and Team app.
    2. To isolate the problem, please check Teams website and see if the same issue happens there.
    3. Reinstall Razer website straight from their website to make sure we won't miss any updates.
    4. Check your app permissions

    a. Open Settings

    b. Under Privacy, select the item about output audio.

    c. Make sure the setting for this component access for this device is turned On

If the setting is already turned on, turn the setting off then back on again

    d. Close all apps and restart your device

    Hope this works!
