Searching for & opening multiple images in Teams app requires hitting Close button multiple times

When I use the MS Teams app search function to find an image, I have been clicking Files and also File Type>Images to filter the results. If I click on one of the files listed, then click the Close button after viewing the file, it goes back to the unfiltered list from before I selected the File Type>Images filter. Then if I click another file on the results list, view the file and hit the Close button, the previous image I viewed comes up and I have to hit the Close button again to get back to the search results. This process repeats after every file I open and I have to hit Close for each file I have viewed during this entire process to get back to the search results.

1) After viewing a file and hitting Close, why aren't all of the chosen filters still applied on the results? It doesn't make sense to have to filter everything all over again.

2) If I'm viewing multiple files during the search process, I should not have to hit Close repeatedly because previously viewed files come up after viewing the next file and hitting Close.

Can provide a video of this problem if needed. Thank you for your help.
