New Teams - Notifications from Other Accounts

Hi

I have activated new TEAMS where I have two different company accounts configured.

Then I want to see notifications only for the active accounts while I continue receiving notifications also for the not active account. I have already disabled all notifications in not active accounts but I continue to see the Number of Notifications in the icon.

How I can remove it?

    Hello Giuseppe1009,

I'm Ibhadighi and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

To manage notifications in Microsoft Teams, you can follow these steps:

    1. Select **Settings and more** at the top right of Teams.
    2. Then select **Settings > Notifications**.

Here, you can manage notification sounds, customize channel notifications, and change other notification settings.

However, if you're an administrator and want to turn off email notifications for certain users (such as those who have left the organization), it's important to note that the admin cannot control users' notifications from the admin center.

But, you can turn off actionable emails organization-wide using the Set-OrganizationConfig cmdlet together with the SmtpActionableMessagesEnabled parameter.

For inactive mailboxes, you might want to check the inactive mailbox option.

    I hope this helps,

    Hello

Thanks for answer but problem is not on how to manage notifications. I did already all the steps.

    I have accountA and accountB

On AccountB I have disabled ALL notifications (All in OFF) but when Im connected with AccountA still I receive the messages from AccountB.

I would not see any notifications from not active accounts when connected with another.

In the previous TEAMS this worked.

    Hello Giuseppe1009,

The other option will be to switch back to the old teams.

Unfortunately, I'm really sorry I don't have any further troubleshooting to offer.

There are many knowledgeable users active on the forum and I hope that someone else can offer further insight into your issue.

    Thank you, Ibhadighi
