To manage notifications in Microsoft Teams, you can follow these steps:
- Select **Settings and more** at the top right of Teams.
- Then select **Settings > Notifications**.
Here, you can manage notification sounds, customize channel notifications, and change other notification settings.
However, if you're an administrator and want to turn off email notifications for certain users (such as those who have left the organization), it's important to note that the admin cannot control users' notifications from the admin center.
But, you can turn off actionable emails organization-wide using the Set-OrganizationConfig
cmdlet together with the SmtpActionableMessagesEnabled
parameter.
For inactive mailboxes, you might want to check the inactive mailbox option.
