Tasks By Planner - My Day not showing tasks that are due today

Hello community, thanks in advance for the help.
In Outlook TO DO, MY DAY section, it will automatically show me the tasks that are assigned to me or that I owe that are due that today. I would have expected the same MY DAY functionality in Tasks by Planner. Should MY DAY auto-populate in Tasks by Planner too? Is this a config or something in my settings?
