Dear Ele Reed,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
According to your description, you're not receiving emails. Don't worry, you can try my suggestions below to solve the problem of not receiving emails, I hope my suggestions can help you.
In order to better help you solve the problem of not receiving emails, I would like to collect more information from you. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
- What domain name email account are you using? (email accounts with Microsoft domain names (@Outlook.com, @Hotmail.com, @msn.com, @live.com) or other third-party domain names).
2. Can you receive new emails on another device, such as another computer or phone?
In the meantime, you can also try some of my suggestions below to check if you can solve the problem of not receiving emails.
- Please try to switch devices, such as using computer or using another mobile phone to log in to your email account, and then send a plain text email to your email address to check whether your email account can receive emails normally.
- Email sync in Outlook is synced with the Outlook email server. If you use a Microsoft domain email account (@outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @msn.com, @live.com), you can sign in on the server-side (Outlook.live.com) to check if new emails can be displayed in your inbox. If you use an email account with a third-party domain name, you can log in to the webmail of the corresponding email address to check if new emails can be displayed in your inbox.
- You can check in the Settings - Mail - Rules to see if there are some rules that affect your email account to receive new emails. If there are such rules, you can delete these rules and then check whether you can receive new emails normally.
- If it is convenient, you can set up a forwarding for your current email address, forward your email account to the mailbox of another domain, and check whether the mailbox of the other domain can receive new emails.
- If none of the above suggestions can help you receive emails normally, I can only recommend that you contact Microsoft's online support staff to check your account status, you can click on this link and follow the step-by-step instructions below to contact them. Contact - Microsoft Support
