Hello Community,

I need urgent assistance with recovering my locked Microsoft Outlook account: ***@live.com. This account is essential for both my personal and professional activities, as it’s connected to my work, social media, banking, and other critical services.

The account was locked after I sent two broadcast emails to job candidates who applied to my organization, a reputable media house. While I believe this activity triggered the lock, the emails were entirely legitimate and part of my professional responsibilities.

I’m ready to provide any necessary verification, such as:

  • Government-issued ID
  • Details of recent activities or emails
  • Contact list or subject lines from recent communications
  • Any other information required

Please guide me on the best way to proceed. You can contact me via my alternate email at ***@outlook.com. This issue is urgent, and your support would mean a lot!

Thank you for your time and understanding.

Best regards,
Abdullah Gauhar ***

    Hello Abdullah Malik2,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I understand that your account is currently locked. Please refer to the following content and suggestions. (This is a community platform, so I cannot directly contact your email.)

First, try to follow the prompts when logging in to unlock the account. If the account has security verification methods such as a phone number or backup email, you can try resetting the password to see if it unlocks.

You mentioned that you can provide some account-related information, so I suggest filling out the recovery form. This is also an effective recovery process and usually responds within 24 hours.

Additionally, I have included the steps to contact online chat support; you can try to communicate with them or provide information.

Please refer to the steps below.

    1. Open the web Contact - Microsoft Support (choose to run the hyperlink in Edge using the right-click copy).
    2. In the "We're here to help" box, type MSA, click "Get Help," and then click "Contact Customer Support" at the bottom. (You must be signed in to your Microsoft account, otherwise you can follow step 3)
    3. In this section, you need to sign in to your personal Microsoft account.

    Note: Only personal MSA can be connected, login to corporate account cannot display the correct content. If the account cannot be logged in, you can use a different account or create a new one;

    1. Select "Other Products" under Products and Services, select "Manage account security" and click Confirm.
    2. Select "Chat with Support Specialist in Web Browser" to enter the chat window.

Please contact them during business hours on weekdays.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Jimmy!

Thank you for your reply. I no longer have access to the sim that I put as verification to the email account. I had also attached two other emails as verification but the option to verify using them is not available.

I filled out the recovery form and got a rejection from one and then did it again and received a security code but have no idea where to use to access the account.

Following the third and trying to contact online chat support, the screen reads 'The request is blocked' and so I have no idea how to get in touch with a representative.

I am completely stuck and getting worried sick as this account is linked to both, my personal and professional life.

Please tell me what I can do and if possible have a customer agent reach out to me.

    Best,

    Abdullah
