If You Are a User

Note: These changes may take up to 24 hours to reflect across Microsoft 365 apps like Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
If You Are an Administrator
You can change a user’s name in the Microsoft Entra admin center:
- Sign in to https://entra.microsoft.com with User Administrator or Global Administrator privileges.
- Go to Entra ID > Users.
- Select the user whose name you want to change.
- Click Edit properties or go to the Properties tab.
- Update the Display Name, First Name, and Last Name fields.
- Click Save
