I am unable to receive email from s***.com for users that have never received an email previously.

I have an open microsoft ticket that has been sitting untouched for 5 days. No tech assigned.

stych.com sends OTP emails. a week and a half ago, new users were able to get OTP emails. Now only users that had previously received an OTP email can receive a new OTP email. New users emails are rejected by the MSFT smtp gate way with this error “The server could not temporarily deliver your message (ex: Message is delayed due to network troubles)” .

Why has my ticket sat unassigned for 5 days. 250********9583 I have asked several times for a response.

I suspect this is an issue in the Email Security filter, rejecting new smtp conversations while allowing old converstaions. The underlying services for S***.com are google services, and as of last week, one of the servers were on a black list, which has been remediated, but has not been remediated on microsofts side.

Hi Dennis, The error message "The server could not temporarily deliver your message typically can occur due to various reasons, such as network issues, server misconfigurations, or email filtering policies. We need to narrow down the scope. You can check Microsoft's Block List using MX toolbox: Email Blacklist Check - IP Blacklist Check - See if your server is blacklisted

Since you've mentioned that one of stych.com's servers was on a blacklist, it's possible that it hasn't been fully remediated on Microsoft's side. If no results returned in MXtoolbox, you may double confirm with Microsoft tech to see if the sending IP or domain in any of Microsoft blacklists. As a workaround, you may try to whitelist the Sender's DomainIn Outlook, go to Settings > View all Outlook settings.Select Mail > Junk email.Under Safe senders and domains, add sxx.com.Create safe sender lists - Microsoft Defender for Office 365 | Microsoft LearnIf you have access to the Microsoft 365 admin center, you can perform a message trace to investigate why the emails are being rejected. You can also check the email status, the policies triggered, the detection technology in defender- explorer. I hope this helps.

Well.. late is better than never I guess.

This issue got resolved, it was caused by the sending server IP being on a black list, which took several days for microsoft to remove the sending IP from the Security stack. White listing the email address or domain has no effect in this scenario, the IP connect request to establish TLS is what got rejected.

The biggest issue I had was Support did not acknowledge the ticket for over a week, and by that time.. the issue was resolved. But it was far faster than resolution by forum..
