Hi,

Is it possible to set the "All Documents" view in all the libraries in a SharePoint site to display the contents in the library as a "Compact list" at all times?

Can this be set for one user, or can this be set for all users?

See the image attached.

Thanks,

Nishanth Chakkere

    Hello Nishanth,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

You can first switch to "compact list", then "save view as" > give a name and make it a public view. Refresh the page, you will see it has been applied.

Then, for this specific document library, go to library settings, scroll down to the bottom to change this new view to default view.

It seems we need to manually change this per library, there is not yet a direct way found to change at one time.

    Best regards,
