confirm your other surface duo screen lock, forgot screen lock

Hallo, just in the process of setting up Duo 1 phone, message appears confirm your other surface duo screen lock but the screen lock;ve been forgotten, would like to resore backup detail with contacts, apps, sms etc, is thier a workaround to allowing the [previous] screen lock reqest to be bypassed other wise the data from the previous build is not accesible, thanks for any assistance in advance

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community! I see that you wanted to bypass the forgotten lockscreen on your Surface Duo device and would like the data to be intact and backup.

Does your Surface Duo might have been probably FRP Googled locked. Can you still recall the associated Google account for device?

To get past that screen lock, you can do the steps below. But take note that this requires some technical know how. If you're uncomfortable with it, you may have the device serviced by a third party repair shop or person. We cannot guarantee the files, apps, contacts and sms. You can ask this to the repair shop/person.

1. Use an FRP Bypass Tool

There are specialized tools designed to bypass Google FRP locks on Android devices, including Motorola phones. These tools typically require a computer and USB connection. You would need to:

Install the tool on your computer.
Connect your phone via USB.
Follow the instructions provided by the software to bypass the lock.

2. SIM Card Method

This method might work on some devices:

Insert a SIM card into the locked phone.
Call the phone from another device.
Answer the call on the locked phone.
Add the number as a new contact when prompted.
During this process, you may be able to create a new Google account and gain access.

3. Use ADB Commands

If USB debugging was enabled prior to the factory reset, you can try using ADB commands:

Hallo Restee M, thanks for youer recent response and apologies for taking so long to reply, I've been busy.

I've downlaoded this version of what you suggested https://www.appgeeker.com/android-unlocker.html but for the Surface Duo Phone, how would one "knows what of the selection to make" from the list to try out youer idea ; could you suggests which of these apps would be suitable for trying to unFRP with the Surface Duo to try to gain access to the backup what contained all the required infomation.

Also only yesterday because I could not sign into my Microsoft accoint on the Duo, a message were suggesting I were already signed in but I couldm't log intothe microsoft account, on checking it were found that the account were signed in under three different profiles unknown to myself so I reset the phone to facory then start over.

What I wants to understands is, the backup in question of the FRP bockage, will I be able to gain access to this backup where the apps and sets were previously stored ; I've not signed in proper o Google on the phone because I prefers thesetingswith Microsft even though it is understood that hte picode requirement is via Google and not via Microsoft, thanks once again for any assistance you can gives in this respect.
