I'd like to report that KB5062663 is available on the Microsoft Update Catalog for Windows 11 version 23H2, but the package for version 22H2 is missing.

According to the KB article, this update should also apply to Windows 11 22H2. However, when searching the Update Catalog, there is no listing for version 22H2.

Could you please check if the Windows 11 22H2 package has been mistakenly omitted, delayed in publishing, or if there is any known issue related to this?

    Hello Kayo,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Windows 11 versions 22H2 and 23H2 share a common core operating system and a single servicing channel. This means they use the exact same cumulative update package.

The package listed for version 23H2 in the Microsoft Update Catalog is the correct one and is also fully applicable to version 22H2. The title in the catalog often only lists the latest version (23H2) for simplicity, but the package itself is universal for both.

You can safely download and install the package labeled for Windows 11 version 23H2 on your 22H2 system. The installer will correctly identify your OS version and apply the update.

If you find this helpful, please accept the answer.

    Best regard.
