We purchased a Surface Pro 8 for our son while living in Europe, but now he is going to college in the US. Is it possible to buy a US-plugged charging cord for his same Surface Pro to avoid having to carry a plug converter around with him.............and to avoid having to buy a new Surface Pro? :-)

All you should need is a two prong cord like https://www.amazon.com/Listed-Microsoft-Surface-Adapter-Replacement/dp/B08D3FYGFM (You can get these in any hardware store as well) - OR, you can charge over USB-C - use a 60W or higher USB-C Power Delivery charger.
