Regarding to your description, could you please share a few more details in the following:
- May I know which type of accounts in the e-mail address appears that you mention and the email that you're trying to add in Outlook?
- Have you tried logging in via the Outlook desktop app or Outlook on the web, on the private tab? If not, could you please check on them to see the issue still persist?
- Could you check if there might be any conflicts between multiple types of accounts in your Outlook that could be causing the error?
- If possible, could you share a screenshot or describe the error message in more detail?
In the meantime, can you try restarting your phone, login via another device to see if the issue persists.
