    Hi @shaheen shaik

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Q&A Support and for sharing the details.

Recommended Steps to Resolve Misconfiguration Alert

    1. Check IntuneMAMUPN Configuration

Outlook for iOS relies on the IntuneMAMUPN setting to identify the managed user account. If this value doesn’t match the actual login used in Outlook, it can trigger misconfiguration errors.

    • Ask your Intune admin to verify the App Configuration Policy for Outlook iOS.
    • Ensure the IntuneMAMUPN value matches the user's UPN (e.g. ******@domain.com).

    2. Remove Old Device Profiles

Sometimes, leftover MDM profiles or previous enrollments can interfere with Outlook’s configuration.

    • On the iPhone, go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management
    • Remove any outdated or conflicting profiles
    • Also check Microsoft Entra to ensure the device isn’t listed under previous enrollments

    3. Deploy Outlook via Intune

If Outlook was installed manually from the App Store, try deploying it via Intune instead. This ensures the app receives the correct configuration and policies during installation.

    4. Verify Delegate Mailbox Permissions

Make sure the user has the correct permissions for the delegate mailbox:

    • Full Access
    • Send As or Send on Behalf

Also confirm the mailbox type (shared mailbox, user mailbox, etc.) is supported on Outlook for iOS.

    5. Try Offloading the App

Some users have resolved misconfiguration issues by offloading the app instead of uninstalling it:

    • Go to Settings > iPhone Storage > Outlook
    • Tap Offload App, then reinstall

This clears cached data while preserving app settings.

If the error continues after trying these steps, could you please share the screenshot of the error message you mentioned? It wasn’t attached to the post, but it would help us better understand the exact nature of the misconfiguration.

If you need any further assistance or have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I'm here to help.

Thank you again for your patience and for choosing Microsoft Q&A forum.
