If your Teams account is part of an organization, you generally cannot delete or cancel it yourself. Your Teams account is linked to your organization's Microsoft 365 subscription, and its management falls under your IT administrator's purview. Therefore, may I know if you are having a User or Admin account?
If you are having a User account, to "cancel" this type of account on your Mac, please ask your IT Administrator do as follows:
- Remove your Microsoft Teams license.
- Deactivate your user account within their Microsoft 365 tenant.
- Manage any data retention policies.
