Hi, I was delaying the Windows update for a while, and when I finally did, the process got frozen multiple times. I had to force a shutdown. When it restarted again, I noticed that the mouse did not work anymore. Later that day, I noticed that the integrated camera on my laptop is not working either. I still see the logo for update in red, but I cannot access it. Nor from any other way, the configuration panel. What can I do?

    Hello!

Forcing a shutdown during updates can damage system files. In addition to Windows updates, the drivers must also have been updated.

First, you need to regain use of the mouse.

    1. Remove the mouse > Wait 20 seconds > Connect it to another USB port.
    2. Connect another mouse to install a new driver.
    3. If the BIOS was updated during the updates, try resetting it.
    • Turn off the computer > Turn on the computer, press the F2 and DELETE/DEL keys repeatedly until you access the BIOS > Enter advanced mode (F7 key) > Go to the Exit option.
    • Look for the Load Default or Restore Default options > Yes > Save and Exit > Yes.
