    Hello Vipul,

Microsoft has removed the Compare feature.

Other than rolling back to an earlier version of Office, there's not much to be done about it, unfortunately.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

    Hello @Vipul Singal

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

To understand your situation better, can you provide some information about:

    • Are you using a personal account or work/school account (gmail, hotmail, yahoo,… or your account have a company or school name)?
    • If you're using a work/school account, do you have any admin roles in your tenant? For reference: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support
    • What type of operating system is the affected device(Windows, MacOs, iOS, Android,…)?
    • Did you switch to other device and this issue still persists?

To troubleshoot for your issue, you can consider performing these steps:

    Check PowerPoint Version

    • Open PowerPoint.
    • Go to File > Account.
    • Look under About PowerPoint to confirm you're using the desktop version (not PowerPoint for the web).
    • User's image

According to this article Track changes in your presentation - Microsoft Support  your PowerPoint versions or platforms might not support Compare feature anymore:

    • Retired in Version 2502: Microsoft has officially removed the Compare and Merge feature from Microsoft 365 PowerPoint for Windows starting with version 2502.
    • Still Available in Older Versions: If you're using a version older than 2502, the feature should still be available.
    • Not Available on Other Platforms: PowerPoint for Mac, PowerPoint for the web

If you're using the newer version, you can consider switching back to version 2502 or older by following this instruction How to revert to an earlier version of Office.

After confirming that you have the right version installed, you can Disable Automatic Updates To prevent automatic updates:

    • In PowerPoint, Word, or Outlook go to File > Account.
    • Under Product Information, select Update Options > Disable Updates.
    • Remember to re-enable updates once a fixed version is released.

If you have the right version but still cannot find this feature, you can perform these additional steps :

    Inspect the Ribbon

    • Go to File > Options > Customize Ribbon.
    • In the right pane, select Review.
    • Check if Compare is listed and enabled. If not, add it manually:
    • From the left pane, choose All Commands.
    • Find Compare, then add it to the Review tab.

    Try a Different File

    • Open a different .pptx file and check if the Compare option appears.
    • Sometimes the feature is context-sensitive and may not show if the file doesn’t meet certain criteria.

Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.
