Is there a way to prevent one's activity in Microsoft 365 applications including SharePoint and Outlook from being broadcast in the MS Teams Activity feed?

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum and your question regarding the visibility of Microsoft 365 activity such as actions in SharePoint and Outlook in the Microsoft Teams Activity feed. 

Currently, Microsoft Teams does not offer a centralized setting to prevent all activity from Microsoft 365 applications from appearing in the Activity feed. The Activity feed is designed to surface relevant updates across Microsoft 365 services to enhance collaboration and awareness. 

However, users can manage certain notification behaviors through Teams settings: 

• Channel Notifications: You can customize what appears in your activity feed by navigating to Settings > Notifications and activity. From there, you can choose to show or hide specific types of notifications, such as replies to threads or mentions.  Manage channel notifications in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support 
• Sensitivity Labels: For meetings and chats, applying sensitivity labels can help control visibility and access, though this does not directly affect the Activity feed.  Use sensitivity labels with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 Groups, and SharePoint sites | Microsoft Learn  

At this time, Microsoft does not provide a global opt-out for broadcasting activity from SharePoint or Outlook into Teams. For privacy and compliance concerns, we recommend reviewing your organization's Microsoft 365 usage policies and consulting your IT administrator for tailored configurations.
