I have M365 yearly subscription. My debit has some problem, but Microsoft is not accepting another card. I tried with UPI payment, but it is not showing in payment option. How can I use UPI to pay for subscription.

Thanks

    Hello Saravanan Kesavan,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

I understand how inconvenient this must be, especially when you're trying to renew your subscription promptly.

You're unable to renew your Microsoft 365 subscription because your debit card isn't working, and UPI isn't appearing as a payment option.

To resolve this issue, please try the following solutions:

    1. UPI is only available as a payment method in certain regions (e.g., India). Make sure your Microsoft account region is set correctly by visiting https://account.microsoft.com/profile.
    2. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services> Select your Microsoft 365 subscription > Manage > Change how you pay. If UPI is supported in your region, it should appear as an option.
    3. Sometimes, UPI appears as a payment option when using the Microsoft Store app on Windows. Try renewing your subscription through the app instead of the browser.
    4. If UPI still doesn’t appear, contact support for direct assistance with billing:
    • Go to Contact Us - Microsoft and sign in your account.
    • Type Billing and payment in the search box.
    • Click Get help and Select Contact Support.
    • Choose Microsoft 365 and Office as Products and Services; and Billing and payment updates as Category
    • Click Confirm.
    • You can choose to chat with a support representative.

Note: The chat support team only works during certain working hours. Therefore, if the last window indicates that you are unavailable, try opening it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. That way, they can call you and help you.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

    Best regards,
