Hiding Channel Members in Microsoft Teams

To answer your question directly, this functionality is not available within standard, private, or shared Teams channels. The core design of Teams channels is to promote collaboration and transparency, so member visibility is a fundamental part of that experience. 

However, Microsoft Teams offers a different feature that is specifically designed to meet your requirement for participant privacy: Microsoft Teams Webinars and Town Halls. 

These features are the ideal solution when you want to present information to an audience without revealing the attendees to each other. 

1. Microsoft Teams Webinars: This is the recommended solution for your use case. In a webinar, attendees can view the content and interact with presenters through a moderated Q&A, but they cannot see the list of other attendees. This ensures participant privacy while still allowing for engagement.

2. Microsoft Teams Town Halls (formerly Live Events): For even larger-scale broadcasts, such as all-company meetings, Town Halls offer a similar experience. Attendees join in a view-only mode and are completely hidden from one another.
